monologue

This is the monologue the I am doing can I talk like a pirate?  Ay, matie!  Avast! Ahoy!  Aye-aye, I can!   Shiver me timbers! I can talk like a pirate better than any lily-livered, jelly-legged sea-goer that ever there once was!  I say whatever I’ve got to say in a pirate way and if any bilge-sucking buccaneer says I don’t, I’ll leave him to the brisket!  I swear on Davy Jones’ Locker, to be a true blue pirate you’ve got to be able to load a cannon and fire it- but most important you’ve got to talk like a pirate!

My strengths

Last term we did a worksheet about our strengths these are my top five strengths. 


1. Gratitude means to appreciate things in life like food, family, clothes and other things.

  • I show gratitude when I get given stuff and I don’t complain about the things I get. It is important to show gratitude because some people don’t have things that you might get.


2. Hope means you're likely to be a positive person even if things aren't great you’ll believe they’re going to improve.

  • I show hope by staying positive when things are down or something. It is important to show hope because when things get hard you still believe things will get better.


3. Forgiveness is if you do something wrong or other people do something wrong, and you're willing to forgive them and move on. 

  • I show forgiveness by forgiving some people when things happen that they might do. It is important to show forgiveness because it makes you empathetic and doesn’t hold a grudge.


4. Love is where you show you listen, care and make people feel important so you are really good at building strong relationships.

- I have shown love by helping my parents out with some stuff.


5. Humility is where you don’t show off because you don’t have to. You let other people notice your skills and knowledge, and don’t worry about trying to convince them you’re “all that”.

- I show humility by keeping my head down and trying to finish my work on time.
