Today I was doing my reading activity for that I had to read a book and do an activity about the story I read was David Walliams the Fing.
I think it was a good book it was a bit funny.

Maths tasks
Today I worked on the Maths sheet and I completed from task 20 -25. Some of the activities on the sheet were where you had to sort the money out and write down how much change you got. Also, I had to write down different combinations of how money can look. I also had to write down the days of the week in order and the months of the year in order. I had a calendar to look at and then work out what dates things happened on. Here are some photos of the work I did.

For the past week and a few days, I have been doing my maths work all of the work I have done is for task 1 to task 17 I have done some of it every 2 or 3 days the work I have had to do is measuring and writing down some temperatures here is some of the work I have done. 
Japanese work
For the past couple of days, I have been doing my Japanese homework on Education Perfect. Some of the tasks I did were where I had to name the colours in Japanese. When I did that I also had to write out a Sentence with Japanese words then they changed into the Japanese letters.

In the weekend
Tody in period 3 our teacher Mrs Hastie said that we are going to write a 300-word story for this period. Then Mrs Hastie wrote some things on the board to choose to write about and I choose to write about the weekend.
This weekend I am going to Hanmer Springs with one of my friends called Tyson we are going on Saturday. Tyson is going to scooter to mine then I’ll get my mum to drop me and Tyson off to his house and do something before we have to go and watch his sister play softball for 30 minutes or longer. Once that is done we will get going to Hanmer Springs it will take us a while to get there so me and Tyson are going to do stuff to pass the time. When we get there we are going to go to the pool where you have to get a raft and go down in circles then you go down a tube then go straight then it’s finished then we are going to try and go on the new hydro slide a few times then we will go on some other ones.

Wind Power
Measuring weather.
Definitions:
- Anemometer: An instrument for measuring the speed of the wind, or of any current of gas.
- Beaufort wind scale: This scale is used to relate wind in the sky to wind on land or in the sea.
- Typhoon: A tropical storm in the region of the Indian or western pacific ocean.
- Monsoon: The rainy season accompanying the wet monsoon.
- What is it when the weather is really nice and it turns to hail: climate variability.

MATERIALS
1. 2 Sticks
2. 4 cups
3. Sellotape
4.pencil with an eraser on the bottom

7.Scissors
STEPS
- Stick the cups to each end of the sticks
- Tape the sticks together to make a cross
- Pin the cross to the rubber of the pencil

WHICH IS THE WINDEST AREA AND WHY? The windest area in the school is the field because it was the most open area out of the four.WHICH IS THE CALMEST AREA AND WHY? The calmest place that we tested was the tennis court gate because it was the most inclosed because of the trees in the way.WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE ON LAND TO BUILD A WINDMILL? The best place to build a windmill is in an open area because it will have the most wind compeared to a place that has trees all around it.CONCLUSION:TODAY IN SCIENCE WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT THE BEAUFORT WIND SCALE WE DID SOME TESTS TO SEE WHAT PLACE HAD THE MOST WIND THE FIRST PLACE WE DID WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD THE ORIGINAL SPIN PER 15 SECONDS WAS 20 SPINS THEN WE HAD TO TIMES BY 4 AND THAT IS 80 SO THEN WE HAD TO LOOK AT THE CHART AND FIND 80 ONCE WE FOUND IT WE HAD TO FIND THE WIND SPEED AND PUT IT ON A CHART THEN WE MOVED ON TO THE OLD J BLOCK AND THAT ONE WAS 15 SPINS AND THEN TIMES BY 4 TO MAKE IT 60 THEN WE HAD TO DO THE WHOLE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN FOR THE OTHER ONES WHERE THE GRASS HILL AND THAT WAS 10 SPINS THEN TO 40 AND THE LAST ONE WAS THE TENNIS COURT GATE THAT WAS 3 SPINS THE ONE WITH THE MOST SPINS WAS OBVIOUSLY` THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD BECAUSE IT WAS THE MOST OPEN SPACE OUT OF THE FOUR THE LEST ONE WAS THE TENNIS COURT GATE BECAUSE IT HAD THE TREES BLOCKING THE WAY.

CONCLUSION: TToday in science we are learning about the Beaufort wind scale we did some tests to see what place had the most wind the first place we did was the middle of the field the original spin per 15 seconds was 20 spins then we had to times by 4 and that is 80 so then we had to look at the chart and find 80 once we found it we had to find the wind speed and put it on a chart then we moved on to the old j block and that one was 15 spins and then times by 4 to make it 60 then we had to do the whole process all over again for the other ones where the grass hill and that was 10 spins then to 40 and the last one was the tennis court gate that was 3 spins the one with the most spins was obviously` the middle of the field because it was the most open space out of the four the lest one was the tennis court gate because it had the trees blocking the way.
